Neighborhood Health Center's behavioral health team provides short-term individual counseling services that includes patient-centered, culturally-sensitive care to patients of all ages, languages and backgrounds. Counselors use a Cognitive Behavioral Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach to treat mental health diagnoses, including:
- Adjustment Disorders
- Anxiety
- Childhood Behavioral Disorders (ADHD, Conduct Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder)
- Depression
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Mood Disorders and Issues with Emotional Regulation
The behavioral health team works collaboratively with Neighborhood's primary care providers for a coordinated and integrated care approach that addresses body, mind and circumstance. By providing behavioral health services in a primary healthcare setting, patients are offered a discrete and efficient option to improving overall health and wellness.
Established Neighborhood patients are welcome to schedule appointments with our behavioral health team. If you are a NEW patient to Neighborhood Health Center, please call to schedule a new patient appointment with a medical provider prior to being seen by the behavioral health team.
