What experiences have you had on your career path?

I have taken on different roles as a clinical counselor in an office setting, crisis services, mobile counseling, and community counseling. Due to these experiences, I have been able to be in different scenarios which make me feel more prepared for different situations.

How can providers ensure good quality healthcare?

I believe patients or people feel more comfortable in general when the environment is comfortable, and having easier access to resources. Having to go to different places, or not knowing where to access resources create barriers in treatment.

What is something about your education experience that is unique?

In my education, I was given different opportunities to explore different paths my career could take. I volunteered at places like People Inc., a local afterschool program, and went to Thailand at a camp for children who are/were at risk of human trafficking. I also was able to intern in the foster care system, child protective services, and a clinical setting.
