"Throughout my schooling, I have acquired an interest in nutrition during pregnancy. The impact that adequate nutrition can have during this stage in life for the mother and her growing infant is incredible and something I am passionate about sharing with women from pre-conception through conception and birth. Having the ability to be an additional support for mothers during this time brings me great joy!"

I had the honor of being a student of Dr. Rose-Marie Chierici during my time at SUNY Geneseo. She showed me how impactful grass-roots, nonprofit organizations can be on a population's health. I traveled to Borgne, Haiti with her for a service learning course, and it was there that my love of nutrition and it's impact on human health was sparked! Rose-Marie taught me that it is never too late to follow your passions and was one of my first professors to introduce me to health as a human right.
I had the privilege to witness the importance of access to quality healthcare during a service learning study-abroad course to Borgne, Haiti. What began as increasing a communities access to healthcare, grew to improving access to education, and increasing the quality of life of the community members as well.
