My mentor and supervisor throughout my field placements during my MSW program allowed me to take chances and provided opportunities for seeing the strong connection between academics and real world social work practice.
I was a non-traditional student going back for my MSW. I went back to school already having a master's degree in special education.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?
Camping, traveling, going to concerts with my husband, spending time with my English Bulldog, Maggie May.

Thanks to my mom, who is a nurse of over 30 years, I have witnessed the importance of good quality healthcare. Her dedication to patients is steadfast, and she has taught me the importance of compassion in the healthcare field.
