During residency at ECMC, I have witnessed on many accounts desperation for care and immediate relief when this care had been provided. I hear so many times a day "I would have done this sooner but it is so hard to find a place who will take my insurance". Relieving patients of their pain, transforming their smile, and educating them and helping to set their own personal goals to better their overall health has helped me understand the importance of good quality healthcare.
