My time away from Neighborhood is spent teaching future healthcare professionals as a college professor and working to protect the safety of patients as a member of the New York State Board of Medicine and Commissioner for the body that accredits Physician Assistant Programs. Despite the time that these activities take, I still get to watch almost all of my daughter’s college games (soccer and lacrosse).
I read about Neighborhood’s mission and history before I applied. I needed to work with professionals who were dedicated and caring. Most importantly, I wanted to care for the patients served by Neighborhood.
I am most inspired when a parent trusts me to care for all of their children. That is the ultimate compliment. I never take that for granted.
