Who has been an inspirational person to you in your career?
Dr. Lee, my preceptor during my clinical rotation at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Her compassion for her patients and ability to engage with them was unmatched. She was an avid patient advocate and I admired the reciprocal respect shared between patient and provider.
Has there been a time in your life when you experienced, or witnessed, the importance of good quality healthcare?
Prior to undergoing major surgery I was very nervous. However, as the process went underway I began to feel very at ease as the friendly team of both medical and non-medical personnel guided me in an engaging and compassionate way.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?
Yoga and reading.
Also, I am an animal lover.
