What is something about your education experience that is unique?
I explored several majors before discovering my passion for social work. I’ve always known I wanted to be in a helping profession, and it just took some time to find the path that truly felt right for me.
What do you enjoy doing away from work?
I love to travel see new places, experience different cultures, art, concerts and food. I generally like being outdoors.
When have you seen the impact of good quality healthcare can have on people?
During community outreach events, I've had the opportunity to meet individuals who haven’t seen a provider in years due to cost or lack of access. The importance of meeting individuals where they are allows individuals to feel safe and supported, and take an active role in their own health journeys.
