Did you know health centers across the nation, including Neighborhood Health Center, are required to report a core set of information to the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) about the care they provide? This includes information about health outcomes, patients' use of services, staffing and costs. From this data, HRSA determines a quality score for each health center, and awards badges to those with high quality scores.

Neighborhood Health Center earned a HRSA Health Center Quality Leader Silver badge for 2024, and is the highest ranked health center for quality in Western New York. Nationally, Neighborhood ranks in the top 20% of all health centers.

Neighborhood also studies the core set of data to identify focus areas for improving patients’ health outcomes. Examples of areas where Neighborhood has implemented improvement strategies include diabetes A1c controls, cervical cancer screenings, and childhood immunizations. HRSA also awarded Neighborhood a 2024 Advancing HIT for Quality Badge. This badge recognizes Neighborhood for its use of health information technology (HIT) to improve the quality of the services provided to patients.
