Neighborhood Health Center is now ranked in the top 10% of health centers nationwide for quality.
Neighborhood Health Center of Western New York has achieved a ranking in the top ten percent of health centers nationwide for quality in 2021. The federal Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) awarded Neighborhood Health Center four Community Health Quality Recognition badges for 2021 recognizing quality improvement achievements. Descriptions of the badges earned:
HRSA Gold Badge – This badge recognizes Neighborhood Health Center as being in the top 10% of health centers nationwide for quality. Neighborhood is the highest ranked Federally Qualified Health Center in Western New York.
Advancing HIT for Quality Badge – This badge was awarded to Neighborhood Health Center for its use of health information technology (HIT) to help improve the quality of the services provided to patients.
COVID Testing Award – Neighborhood Health Center earned this badge for testing more than 50% of its 2020 reported Uniform Data System patient populations from April 10, 2020 to July 2, 2021, and for its responsiveness to a weekly Health Center COVID-19 Survey.
Patient Centered Medical Home – This badge identifies Neighborhood Health Center as a medical practice that has invested in a model of care that puts patients at the forefront and where continuous quality improvement is a priority.
