Neighborhood Health Center took part in the 2024 health center advocacy day in Albany, NY.
March 4 was health center advocacy day in Albany!
Several Neighborhood Health Center ambassadors made the trip to talk with lawmakers about important issues that impact your health center, including the need to 'Raise The Rates'.
The current Medicaid reimbursement rates for health centers were created in 1999 and have not kept up with rising costs, putting a financial strain on health centers, including Neighborhood. It is important that lawmakers value community health centers, and their communities, by supporting the increase of these reimbursement rates.

Kennedy's office
