Neighborhood's kind physician assistants provide high quality care for patients.
Much like doctors, physician assistants provide direct patient care by diagnosing and treating common conditions. Many of the PAs at Neighborhood Health Center have diverse backgrounds which makes their patient care unique.
Joseph "Joe" Quackenbush is a PA at Neighborhood Health Center who is also trained as a dietician.
"Being a dietician inspired me to become a physician assistant so I could address patient health holistically," explains Joe. He has also been recently promoted to a new role as clinical director at Neighborhood's Mattina location at 300 Niagara Street.
Another recently promoted physician assistant is Kathryn Cangianello. She is the new clinical director at Neighborhood's Riverway location at 1569 Niagara Street.
"Part of being a provider is leadership, and most of practicing medicine is problem-solving which have both come in handy in my new role," says Kathryn. Passion for creating positive health outcomes helps keep our community healthy.
