Neighborhood is recognized for its efforts in advocating for healthcare policies and resources.
Neighborhood Health Center has achieved Gold status in the Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) program for the second time since 2023.
The National Association of Community Health Centers' ACE program recognizes health centers that create a culture of advocacy toward ensuring policymakers at all levels of government commit to investing in the innovative care that health centers provide.
Neighborhood Health Center has achieved Gold status -- the highest level in the program -- and is the only health center in Western New York to achieve an ACE designation. At Neighborhood, we believe it's important to engage in advocacy to educate elected leaders and other policymakers about the positive impact health centers, such as Neighborhood, are making in their communities. Advocacy also helps to ensure that health centers receive the resources needed to continue to provide high-quality, community-based health care regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
