Who has been influential to you in your career path?

The incredible OB-GYN providers here at Neighborhood inspired me to become a midwife. Watching them provide high-quality OB care to all patients inspired me to continue my education and join them in this mission. Becoming a part of the OB-GYN team here at Neighborhood Health Center has been a dream of mine for years.

Describe a time in your life when you experienced or witnessed the importance of good quality healthcare.

While working as a nurse here at Neighborhood, I have seen how quality healthcare can impact a pregnancy. We can provide our patients with services such as counseling, nutrition, and dental care that support whole-body wellness. Our OB-GYN team is able to schedule more frequent appointments for patients with high-risk pregnancies, allowing for the development of a trusting relationship that helps patients achieve their health goals.

What is something about your education experience that is unique?

I was fortunate to complete my clinical education here at Neighborhood Health Center. My midwifery program was unique because it was almost fully remote!

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

In my free time, I play rugby, enjoy hiking, traveling to new cities, and seeing live music. I also enjoy rooting for the Buffalo Bills and hanging out with my dog.
