Describe a time in your life when you experienced or witnessed the importance of good quality healthcare.
I have seen the positive impact of quality healthcare when a patient received compassionate and attentive care during a difficult time. Seeing healthcare professionals listen, educate, and treat patients with dignity showed me how quality care can improve not only a patient’s health, but also bring comfort and support to their family and strengthen the community as a whole.
What is something about your education experience that is unique?
Something unique about my educational journey is navigating school as an immigrant with Spanish as my first language. Adapting to a new language, culture, and educational environment taught me resilience, flexibility, and adaptability. These experiences strengthened my communication skills and gave me a deeper appreciation for diverse backgrounds and perspectives—qualities that continue to shape who I am both personally and professionally.
