I am truly lucky to say that I have always been surrounded by an amazing network of family, friends, and colleagues who have supported me, mentored me, and given me grace and strength through all of the ups and downs of a life in healthcare. It would be impossible to single out one person in particular, but my husband, parents, siblings, and my nursing family have certainly been influential in shaping me into the person and provider that I am today.
In my time working as a bedside nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, I have seen all walks of life come through the door. I have seen first-hand the difference it can make when we treat patients holistically from an integrated, biopsychosocial model of care. Additionally, I have witnessed the impact that strong teamwork can have on patient outcomes.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration that I obtained while completing my prerequisites for nursing school.
