Buffalo, NY – Neighborhood Health Center of WNY, Inc., a nonprofit organization and Federally Qualified Health Center that provides medical, dental and behavioral health services in Western New York, is pleased to announce the new appointment of Paul Allan as Chief Information Officer for the organization and its four community health center enterprise.   

With more than 20 years of extensive information systems experience in the local health, human service and safety-net landscape, Paul joins Neighborhood Health Center after 10 years in senior technical/operational leadership at Endeavor Health Services. Recognized as a mission-driven leader with extensive business expertise in the healthcare information technology sector, Paul brings unique skills to the Neighborhood Health Center leadership team that enhance the organization’s mission to provide impactful healthcare to all Western New Yorkers.

Paul’s previous roles and expertise in information systems include advancing technical infrastructures to enhance operations and systems through the use of data to inform business functions and improve client outcomes.

As Chief Information Officer, Paul will provide direct oversight and management of the daily functions within the company’s information systems department, including recommending investments in technology, capital, equipment systems and other assets to improve the growing practice’s service quality.

Established in 1987, Neighborhood Health Center has had a presence in the region’s primary care scene for more than 30 years and has grown to become the oldest and largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Western New York, providing high-quality, cost-effective primary care to all community members, regardless of ability to pay. With more than 60 medical, dental and social work providers, Neighborhood Health Center provides more than 100,000 visits to more than 26,000 unique patients.
