Bridget E. Russo joins the Neighborhood Health Center team as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Buffalo, NY – Neighborhood Health Center, a nonprofit organization and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides medical, dental and behavioral health services in Western New York, is pleased to announce the new appointment of Bridget E. Russo as Chief Human Resources Officer for the organization and its four community health center enterprise.
With more than 20 years of progressive human resources experience, Bridget joins Neighborhood Health Center after nearly 9 years in executive human resources leadership at Catholic Health. Recognized as a mission-driven leader with extensive business expertise in the healthcare sector, Bridget brings unique skills to the Neighborhood Health Center leadership team that enhance the organization’s mission to provide impactful healthcare to all Western New Yorkers.
A Western New York native, Bridget’s previous roles and expertise in human resources and talent management include strategic workforce, staffing and diversity recruitment planning, human resources information systems (HRIS) planning, management education and development and organizational design strategies.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Bridget is responsible for the development and execution of the Health Center’s human resource strategy and approach that supports the organization’s business plan and strategy for growth.
Neighborhood Health Center, the dba for Northwest Buffalo Community Health Care Center, has had a presence in the region’s primary care scene for more than 30 years and has grown to become the oldest and largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Western New York, providing high-quality, cost-effective primary care to all community members, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. With more than 60 medical, dental and social work providers, Neighborhood Health Center provides more than 100,000 visits to more than 26,000 unique patients.
