The familiar façade at 300 Niagara Street will remain the same, but if you've traveled past the location recently you've no doubt seen the construction happening at the corner of Niagara and Carolina Streets. Workers are building a 15,000 square foot addition which will double the size of Neighborhood Health Center Mattina’s dental practice with five additional dental operatories and lab space. The addition will also allow for the expansion of the Healthcare for the Homeless and other programs offered at the location, as well as provide additional administrative space.

Neighborhood Health Center Mattina has been serving approximately 10,000 patients through 33,000 patient visits each year. The expansion will give Neighborhood the capacity to serve an additional 2,000 patients per year at Mattina.

Throughout construction, which began in the summer of 2022, Mattina has remained open to continue to provide high-quality healthcare, uninterrupted. The expansion and renovations are anticipated to be completed in mid-July. Neighborhood Health Center has been serving the community through the Mattina location for nearly 10 years.
