I enjoy spending time working on my urban farm, where my family grows food to feed ourselves and our neighbors. We plant an annual vegetable garden and harvest fruit and vegetables from our perennial garden Spring through Fall. In the Winter months when the farm is dormant, I enjoy working on rehab projects in my 19th century East Side home.
Creating and expanding access to kind, empathetic healthcare is the most inspiring part of my work. No one should be turned away because they can't afford healthcare, and no one should be scared to see a provider because they fear they will be judged for their personal, social, or economic circumstances.
