What drew you to work here at Neighborhood?

One of my big drivers–I came here simply because I was called to the mission. It was almost an easy decision to move away from the corporate world. 

Another piece that really motivates me is enmeshing into my team, understanding their skillset, and fostering an environment where they see their own potential. So, I’m going to be focusing a lot on my team’s development, elevating my team’s skillset as a whole.  I want to understand what they like about their job, what they would like to see change in their role. The more I can elevate them, the less I have to own, and I can take more off senior leadership’s plate. 

What do you like to do when you're not working?

I spend a lot of time outside–I’m lucky to live close to Delaware Park, so I spend lots of afternoons there. I do a lot of reading. I actually sing, so I spend time working on my music. I’ve taken voice lessons since I was 9.
