When I'm not working, I enjoy doing things with my husband that help keep us active such as hiking, biking, running, rock climbing and walking our dog. We also enjoy traveling and want to see as many US National Parks as we can!
I chose to practice at Neighborhood Health Center because I felt a connection to the organization’s mission, vision and values. My main goal for becoming a dietitian was to help people live healthier lives, and I am able to accomplish this with the amazing team of healthcare providers I get to work with on a daily basis.
To me, Growing Health® means strengthening and expanding our organization to provide greater access and more high quality care to the patients we serve and those we will serve in the future.
I am inspired by the willingness and determination of my patients to make steps toward their health and wellness goals. It is very exciting when patients are able to apply what they have learned in my office, develop healthy relationships with food and physical activity and see the fruits of their labor. It is also very motivating when patients may not see the progress that they expect but use it as a learning opportunity and continue to press forward toward their goals.
